When does the draw take place?
The draw is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 13th of November 2022, at a venue to be confirmed.
Do I need to be from Ireland to buy a ticket?
No, we welcome entries from all over the world.
Can anyone attend the event?
Yes, this will be a public event. All details will be posted on our website and social media platforms in advance of the draw.
Do you have to be present to claim the prize?
No. If you’re not present at the draw we will contact you with details about how to claim your prize. Please see our Terms and Conditions with further information on our draw.
Will the draw be streamed online?
Yes. The draw will be live streamed on our website at sherkiinisland.ie/win-a-holiday/
I don't have a debit/credit card. Is there another way to purchase a ticket?
Yes. Hard copy tickets are available to purchase at a number of outlets in Baltimore and on Sherkin Island including:

The Jolly Roger
Sherkin North Shore
The Sherkin Library

The Community Centre, Sherkin Island
After purchasing online, will I receive an actual ticket in the post?
No. After purchasing your ticket on our website you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket number(s).
I didn't receive my confirmation email?
If you didn’t receive your confirmation email to your inbox within a few minutes, it is advised to check your spam folder or similar folders. If it still cannot be located, please contact us to have it resent.
Will the draw be independently observed?
Yes. An independent party will oversee and verify the draw.
If I win, can I choose which holiday package want to take
No. Prizes will be designated in order of how they are listed, ie. the first ticket drawn will correspond to the SHERKIN ISLAND: WEEKLONG ADVENTURE PACKED FAMILY HOLIDAY package, the second ticket drawn will correspond to the BERE ISLAND: 5 NIGHTS GLAMPING FOR A FAMILY package, and so on.
Can I claim my prize at any time of the year?
The winner(s) should contact the prize suppliers well in advance to check on availability of all elements of their prize. Each prize is subject to availability of the prize-giver.
